UD places 6th in MBA case competition

4:24 p.m., March 23, 2006--UD students took 6th place in the George Washington University MBA Case Competition held on March 17-18. Teams from 20 schools from around the world competed, including 10 teams from schools ranked among those with the top 100 MBA programs in 2006 by The Financial Times.

Team members Kathryn Marrone, Erik Nightwine, Sanjay Mukherjee, Stephanie Baker and Melissa Stacey performed very well in representing UD's MBA program at the competition.

“Teams of students from our MBA program have demonstrated that they can effectively compete against students from top-ranked programs from around the world,” Dan Freeman, assistant professor of business administration, said. “I genuinely believe that we can win one of these competitions.”
