Bryan Hagerich
12:04 p.m., March 29, 2006--Sophomore pitcher Matt Heppner threw a complete game and allowed just two hits to lead the University of Delaware baseball team to an 8-2 victory over the University of Maryland Baltimore County on Tuesday afternoon at Bob Hannah Stadium.

With the victory, the Fightin' Blue Hens improved to 11-10 as they prepare for a weekend Colonial Athletic Association series at Towson University.

UD was powered by home runs by second baseman Alex Buchholz, leftfielder Bryan Hagerich and catcher Ryan Engelhardt. Hagerich also hit a double, as did designated hitter Brent Rogers and third baseman Adam Tsakonas.
