'Apprentice' Randal Pinkett at UD Feb. 13

4:40 p.m., Feb. 10, 2006--Randal Pinkett, the most recent addition to Donald Trump's elite club and the newest favorite of the hit TV show The Apprentice, will speak on campus at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.

Part of the programming for Black History month, Pinkett's talk will be followed by a reception where members of the audience can meet and chat with the celebrity.

Pinkett co-founded BCT Partners, a multimillion dollar, Newark, N.J.-based corporation. He has established himself as an entrepreneur, speaker, author, scholar and community activist, was honored by the NCAA as an Academic All-American and was featured as one of Ebony magazine's “30 Leaders Under 30.”

A Rhodes scholar, Pinkett received his bachelor of science degree from Rutgers University; his master of science degree from the University of Oxford, in England; and his master of science, master of business administration and doctoral degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The free, public event is cosponsored by UD's Center for Black Culture, Black Student Union, Cultural Programming Advisory Board, Delaware African Students Association, Each One Reach One, the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the National Society for Black Engineers.
