'Hoops for Hope' to benefit kids with cancer

5 p.m., Feb. 20, 2006--Educate for a Cure, a student organization that raises money for pediatric cancer research and treatment, will host their second “Hoops for Hope” basketball tournament at 6:45 p.m., Friday, March 3, in gym one in the Carpenter Sports Building. The tournament will consist of three-on-three games, and each team may have as many substitutes as they want.

Cost is $15 per team, and spots are limited. The winners of the tournament will receive gift certificates from nearby restaurants.
