At Sea on the web 4:13 p.m., April 3, 2006--A new issue of At Sea, the newsletter of UD's College of Marine Studies, is now available at [www.udel.edu/cms-news]. Exciting things are happening in research, education and public service at the college, according to Nancy Targett, dean of the college. Landlubbers and seafarers alike will find articles of interest to read, ranging from the arrival of UD's new Research Vessel Hugh R. Sharp and research on “Meddies,” deep-water whirlpools that help drive ocean currents, to a calendar of water-related events and a useful checklist for boaters to ready their crafts for the spring and summer season. |
