Air Force jazz ensemble in concert April 7

4:55 p.m., April 6, 2006--UD's Department of Music will present the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Rhythm in Blue Jazz Ensemble at 7:15 p.m., Friday, April 7, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building. Admission is free.

The USAF Rhythm in Blue Jazz Ensemble is the official jazz ensemble of the USAF Heritage of America Band. The 18-member ensemble performs all types of jazz music, from classics by Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller to contemporary pieces by Pat Metheny and Bob Mintzer.
