UD volleyball falls to Towson in CAA final 9:07 a.m., Nov. 23, 2004--The University of Delaware volleyball team fell 3-0 to Towson University in the Colonial Athletic Association tournament championship game on Sunday night at the Towson Center. The Fightin’ Blue Hens fell 30-18, 30-28 and 30-22 to Towson, which advanced to the NCAA Division I championship tournament. UD advanced to the championship game with a 3-0 victory over Hofstra University. Two Hens, Valerie Murphy and Taylor Govaars, were named to the All-CAA Tournament team.
