Student playoff game tickets now on sale

1:09 p.m., Nov. 30, 2004--UD’s allotment of student tickets for the quarterfinal NCAA playoff football game Saturday, Dec. 4, against the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., went on sale beginning at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Trabant University Center. Remaining tickets will be available beginning at 9 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, in Room 217 of the Trabant University Center until 4 p.m. or until all are sold.

Only 200 tickets are available to UD students, and they will be sold on a first-come first-served basis to those with valid IDs in hand. Tickets must be purchased in person.

Cost is $25, which includes a ticket to the game and roundtrip bus fare to the game. Tickets will be sold only as part of a package with the bus transportation, and students must ride the bus if they buy a ticket.

Buses will leave at 6 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, from the Trabant University Center and will return immediately after the game. No alcohol will be permitted on the bus.

For more information, call the Office of Activities and Programs at
(302) 831-1296.

Comcast’s CN8 will broadcast the game on Saturday starting at noon. CN8 is channel 8 on the campus cable system.
