Lost and Found garage sale set Oct. 16
10:30 a.m., Oct. 8, 2004--UD’s Lost and Found garage sale, an annual event that offers bargain prices on used bicycles, backpacks, electronics, jewelry and assorted household goods, will take place at 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, in the Perkins Garage.
The Department of Public Safety-sponsored event, which is free and open to the public, makes all sales on a “first-claimed basis” and requires that all transactions are by cash or check. Prompt arrival is recommended and sales are final. No refunds or returns--or post-sale claims by previous owners--are honored.
