UD Greeks to cleanup Newark parks Sunday

11:49 a.m., Oct. 22, 2004--More than 600 members of Greek student organizations at UD will work together to clean several Newark city parks on Sunday, Oct. 24. Mayor Vance Funk will join them at 11 a.m. at the Kells Avenue Park.

Students from Greek chapters located on the South Campus will meet at the Amtrak station on South College Avenue at 10 a.m. and start cleaning the Newark bicycle path and adjacent parks.

Students from Greek chapters located on the North Campus will be bused beginning at 10 a.m. from Trabant Univesity Center garage to begin their cleanup efforts in Wilson Park across from the Laird Campus.
