Delaware men’s soccer falls 5-0 to West Virginia

11:14 a.m., Nov. 3, 2004--The University of Delaware men’s soccer team concluded its season with a 5-0 loss to West Virginia University on Tuesday night in Morgantown, W.Va. The Fightin’ Blue Hens fell to 4-13-1.

West Virginia’s Jarrod Evans did most of the damage, scoring three goals with the first coming in the first 15 seconds of the game. Freshman T.C. Young had five shots for the Hens.

Senior goalkeeper Kyle Haynes had five saves and finished his career third all-time at UD with 351 saves. He also holds the record for most minutes played by a Hen goalie.
