UD parents invited to join UDaily mailing list

2:36 p.m., Nov. 16, 2004--Parents of UD students have been encouraged via a special mailing to subscribe to the weekly UDaily for Parents e-mail, which contains headlines and links to news stories and features of interest to parents.

The web site, a customized version of UDaily, also carries important announcements and a calendar of events, with daily updates.

“It’s a great way for parents to stay connected to the University,” Sharon Dorr, director of alumni and University relations, said. “Many parents have found it an invaluable weekly resource that not only keeps them informed but actively involved.”

Michael Devlin, of Hammonton, N.J., whose daughter, Bridget, is a sophomore nursing major, praised UDaily for Parents in a note that is quoted on the special postcard mailed to parents: “I wanted to compliment you on the excellent communication you have with parents. Both my wife and I read your UDaily for Parents each day. It’s a great way to keep informed on what’s happening at the school. Great job!”

Parents can subscribe online by visiting [www.udel.edu/udaily-parents].
