Jazz ensembles perform tonight 10:06 a.m., Oct. 19, 2004--UDs Department of Music presents its Jazz Ensemble I and Jazz Ensemble II in concert at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building. Directed by Tom Palmer, the program will feature Sammy Nestico's arrangement of "A Night In Tunisia," Joe Vavruska's arrangement of Clifford Brown's "Sandu," Cole Porter's "I Love You" arranged by Les Hooper, Pat Metheny's "The First Circle" arranged by Bob Curnow and student guest flutist Krista Velez performing "Sonata Latino." Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $3 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices.
