Debate on gay marriage set Oct. 28

12:07 p.m., Oct. 25, 2004--A student debate, “When Harry Met Harry: Gay Marriage and the Presidential Election,” is set for 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, in Pencader Commons 3.

Structured as an open forum and discussion with representatives from HAVEN, the College Republicans and the College Democrats, the debate will explore what impact the outcome of the upcoming presidential election might have on the legalization of gay marriage.

The event, which is free and open to UD students and interested parties, is sponsored by the Office of Residence Life and is part of the UNITY Project series.
