Black Eyed Peas visit The Bob Nov. 16

1:55 p.m., Oct. 22, 2004--Black Eyed Peas, the hip-hop group that went platinum with its album Elephunk, will perform at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the Bob Carpenter Center.

Formed as a break-dancing troupe in the early ’90s, the group quickly drew the attention of music industry talent scouts and fans with its musical and choreographic talents and positive lyrics.

Tickets for the concert, which is sponsored by the Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB), are now on sale at UD box offices. Prices run from $15 to $30, depending on seating options. UD students with valid UD ID cards may buy up to four tickets. Tickets also are on sale through Ticketmaster, where a convenience charge may apply. Doors open at 7 p.m.
