UDs Sobhan Tadjalli is CAA Rookie of Year
Tadjalli also was named first team All-CAA and to the conference All-Rookie team. He is the first UD player to be named first team All-CAA since the Fightin Blue Hens joined the conference in 2001. Tadjalli led the Hens with 11 goals, and also had three assists for a total of 25 points. Both were all-time records for a UD freshman, breaking the mark of 10 goals and 22 points set by John McCloskey in 1975. Tadjalli scored in back-to-back games twice during the season and scored two goals or more in three matches this year. He scored four goals in a 7-2 victory over Mount St. Marys, the most goals scored in a game for UD since 1972, when Jeff McBrearty also scored four times.
