UD volleyball’s Walsh CAA Rookie of Week

2:34 p.m., Nov. 9, 2004--Colleen Walsh, a freshman on the University of Delaware volleyball team, has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for the second straight week and for the third time this season.

Walsh helped the Fightin’ Blue Hens score victories over LaSalle, James Madison and Virginia Commonwealth universities this week, the latter two clinching third place in the conference and a berth in the CAA championship tournament.

Walsh had 15 kills and three blocks against LaSalle, 11 kills and three blocks against James Madison and 14 kills against Virginia Commonwealth.
