HTAC stages Broadway revue Nov. 15-16

Rehearsal for HTAC’s Broadway revue
2:47 p.m., Nov. 10, 2004--Some well-loved chestnuts from bygone Broadway musicals will be given new life during the two-day benefit show, Sing!, set for Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 15 and 16, at the Bacchus Theatre in the Perkins Student Center.

The performance, which starts at 8 p.m. both nights, features 20 cast members and more than 20 musical selections, including hits from Les Miserables, Rent and Avenue Q.

Net proceeds from the production, which is sponsored by the Harrington Theatre Arts Company, will be donated to the Music for All Foundation, an organization that contributes funds to music education programs in public schools nationwide.

Tickets are $5 per person and can be reserved by calling (302) 355-6545, the same number to call for more information on the performance.
