NFHCA recognizes five UD field hockey players 9:09 a.m., Nov. 17, 2004--Five University of Delaware players have been named to STX National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Mid-Atlantic teams. Sophomore goalkeeper Megan Allen, senior back Erica LaBar, sophomore midfielder Amanda Warrington and senior back Leah Geib were named first team All-Mid-Atlantic and senior forward Lauren Carr was named second team All-Mid-Atlantic. Allen allowed just 1.31 goals per game and had a save percentage of .781 for the 15-7 Fightin’ Blue Hens, who won their first Colonial Athletic Association championship and competed in the NCAA Division I tournament for the first time since 1988. LaBar had 11 goals and four assists, Warrington had 10 goals and four assists and Geib had seven goals and seven assists. Carr had 11 goals and five assists.
