July 8, 2005--Ralph C. Wells, 96, died Jan. 19, at Chandler Hall in Newtown, Pa.

A native of Langhorne, Pa., Mr. Wells graduated from the University of Delaware in 1930 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

He retired as an industrial engineer from U.S. Steel.

A lifelong bowler, he was a member of the Penndel Senior Bowling League and also was active in gardening and travel.

Mr. Wells is survived by daughters Rosalind Kline and her husband, Philip, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; Linda Osterhout and her husband, Robert, of Langhorne; and Geraldine Devers of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; six great-granchildren; and sister, Leona Scheetz of Langhorne.
