William S. P. Selvaggi
 

July 8, 2005--William S. P. Selvaggi, 75, of Levittown, Pa., died Jan. 2.

A native of Wilmington, Mr. Selvaggi earned his bachelor of mechanical engineering degree at UD in 1950.

He had been an original Levittown resident since 1955. He was employed at USX Fairless Works for 40 years, until his retirement in 1995.

An Army veteran, he served in the Korean conflict, where he received the Medal of Honor.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Gasbarro Selvaggi; children, Dr. Kathleen Fadden and her husband, David, of Morristown, N.J.; William Selvaggi and his wife, Consuelo, of Houston; Ken Selvaggi and his wife, Anne, of Topeka, Kan.; Dr. Thomas Selvaggi and his wife, Giuditta, of Oradell, N.J.; and Sarah Selvaggi of Wilmington; as well as six grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.
