UD men’s soccer ties Central Connecticut

11:26 a.m., Sept. 8, 2005--University of Delaware freshman goalkeeper Taylor Thames made five saves in his collegiate debut as the Fightin’ Blue Hens played to a 0-0 draw against Central Connecticut State University on Wednesday afternoon in New Britain, Conn.

Sophomore T.C. Young led the Hens with six shots, and Michael Zoellner and Sal Tadjalli had four apiece.

UD (0-1-1) will return to action in their home opener against George Washington University at 1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Delaware Mini-Stadium. George Washington is 1-0-1 on the season, having tied American University 1-1 and defeated Howard University 3-0.
