Fritz H. Lueth
 

Sept. 7, 2005--Fritz H. Lueth, 71, of Forest Hill, Md., died Aug. 8 after a long illness.

Born in Germany, Mr. Lueth came to the United States in 1957 and joined the U.S. Army the same year.

After retiring from the Army, where he was an artillery officer, he attended the University of Delaware, graduating cum laude with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1978.

He worked for Wilson T. Ballard Co., designing bridges and highways, and then went to the Aberdeen Proving Ground, where he spent the rest of his career as the artillery test director.

Mr. Lueth is survived by his wife, Ellen Wahlberg Lueth, of Forest Hill, and his daughter, Maria Lueth of Nottingham, Md.
