WVUD to broadcast all UD football games

12 p.m., Sept. 2, 2004--University of Delaware radio station WVUD-FM 91.3 has announced it will broadcast all Fightin’ Blue Hens football games this season.

Live coverage begins at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, when Delaware hosts the New Hampshire Wildcats at Delaware Stadium. WVUD will be live for all 11 regular season games this year, plus any NCAA I-AA playoff games.

Brendan Boylan, a junior at UD, returns for his second year as WVUD’s play-by-play announcer. Craig Schlosser, also a junior at UD, returns as color commentator. WVUD football broadcasts feature 30-minute pregame shows and postgame player interviews.

Besides its FM broadcast, WVUD offers live streaming audio of each game at [www.wvud.org]. Plus, for the fourth straight year, Comcast Cable of New Castle County subscribers can listen live to WVUD's broadcast as the audio on the "Comcast Extra" bulletin board (Channel 2).

WVUD Sports, "the voice of Blue Hen Sports," has been covering University of Delaware athletics for more than 20 years. This year, WVUD Sports plans to broadcast more than 100 UD sports events, including Delaware football.
