Office supplies vendor changes name

1:14 p.m., July 13, 2004--Boise Office Solutions, UD’s contract provider of office supplies, has recently purchased OfficeMax and is adopting the OfficeMax brand name.

In addition, some of the brands the company carries will be changing. The OfficeMax brand will replace High Mark, Boise, Stonebridge and Platinum Choice.

The University should experience no major changes in the way departments do business with OfficeMax, according to Burt Wilson, Procurement Services. Orders will still be placed through UDMart and delivery made to end-user desktops.

Although the company’s e-mail addresses may change, contact information in the customer service section of UDMart will have updated addresses and telephone numbers. Departments should use that web page when contacting the company about orders, Wilson said.

Charges on University procurement cards will post as "OfficeMax." UDMart order numbers will continue to appear in the level-two field of the procurement card allocation system.

Questions about the change can be directed to Procurement Services at 831-2159 or [procurement@udel.edu].
