Serafin String Quartet concert set Sept. 19

1:30 p.m., Sept. 9, 2004--The Serafin String Quartet’s begins its 2004-05 season with a performance in the Festival Concert Series at the First and Central Church in Wilmington at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19.

Pianist Julie Nishimura, a member of UD’s music faculty, will join the quartet for a performance of Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A Major, Op. 81.

In its third season as ensemble-in-residence at the church, the Serafin String Quartet also has performances planned in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina and Delaware.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and $5 or children, 8-15.
