Job Jamboree set Sept. 28

2:52 p.m., Sept. 24, 2004--UD’s 36th annual Job Jamboree is scheduled for 1-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, in the Bob Carpenter Center.

More than 130 organizations will be represented, and company representatives will be available to provide information about their organizations and hiring needs.

Job Jamboree is an informational job fair. Participating organizations will return to campus during spring semester as part of UD’s Campus Interview Program to conduct interviews.

The event is open to all University students and alumni, who are encouraged to bring resumes and to dress appropriately for potential employers.

Those attending the Job Jamboree will get a program listing participating employers that shows the location of their booths at the event.

The Job Jamboree is one of the many events presented by the MBNA Career Services Center, which also hosts a wide range of programs, including resume and cover-letter writing to preparing for employment interviews.

For more information, call (302) 831-8479 or visit the MBNA Career Services Center online at [www.udel.edu/CSC/index.html].
