Hen golfer Strasburg sixth at GW Invitational 1:20 p.m., Sept. 28, 2004--University of Delaware freshman golfer Mike Strasburg shot rounds of 76 and 75 to tie for sixth in his collegiate debut at the George Washington Invitational held Monday at Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach. Strasburg led the Fightin Blue Hens to a ninth-place team finish. Host George Washington University won the team title. Drexel finished second, just six shots back. UD sophomore Joe McLister shot 156 to finish 19th, junior J.J. Oakley shot 157 to finish 24th, junior Devin Milowe shot 168 to finish 51st and sophomore Matt Grobstein shot 176 to finish 54th. George Washington's Jack Tyler won the individual title as he shot 75 in the first round and 69 in the second to finish at even par 144 and defeated Drexel's Jeffery Michner in a one-hole playoff. UD will continue its fall schedule Oct. 4-5 at the Joe Agee Invitational hosted by the College of William and Mary at the Royal New Kent Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va.
