Reception for Mark Huddleston set July 28

9:48 a.m., July 8, 2004--Members of the campus community are invited to attend a farewell reception for Mark W. Huddleston, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, who is leaving UD to become president of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.

The reception, hosted by President David P. Roselle and Provost Dan Rich, will be held from 4-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center.

Those planning to attend are asked to e-mail [rsvp@art-sci.udel.edu] or call (302) 831-2793 by July 23.

Huddleston, a member of UD’s political science faculty since 1980, has served as chairperson of the department, president of the University Faculty Senate and associate provost for international programs and special sessions. He was acting dean of the College of Arts and Sciences before being appointed dean in July 2002.
