Delaware Throwers’ Classic set Sept. 19
3:47 p.m., Sept. 13, 2004--The third annual fall Delaware Throwers’ Classic will begin at 10 a.m., Sunday, Sept 19, at the Delaware Mini-Stadium just east of Delaware Stadium, in the David M. Nelson Athletic Complex.
Competitions include hammer throw, shot put, weight throw, discus, javelin, super weight throw and championship javelin.
Sanctioned by the Mid-Atlantic TAC, The event is open to all throwers 18 years and older. Entry fee is $20 for first event and $5 for each additional event up to a maximum entry fee of $30. All profits support the UD men’s and women’s throwing program.
