Free blood pressure screening Thursday

1:27 p.m., Sept. 29, 2004--All UD employees and retirees are invited to stop by and have their blood pressure tested from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, in 202 Allison Hall. No appointment is needed to take advantage of this free screening, sponsored by UD’s Employment Wellness Center in conjunction with the Department of Nursing.

One in three Americans has high blood pressure, but many persons are unaware of the condition. Untreated, high blood pressure can lead to serious medical problems.
