Academic Services Center to move, change name

1:49 p.m., July 21, 2004--UD’s Academic Services Center will move its offices from the George Evans House at 5 West Main St. to 148-150 South College Ave. on Tuesday, Aug. 17. At the same time, the center will change its name.

The center will be renamed the Academic Enrichment Center to reflect its campus role coordinating tutoring services and providing academic skills workshops as well as services for students with ADHD and learning disabilities, according to Lysbeth Murray, associate director. In addition, the center houses several other programs, including Student Support Services and the John Henry Taylor Scholars program.

The center’s telephone number—(302) 831 2805—will remain the same.
