United Way golf tournament set Oct. 4

9:11 a.m., Aug. 5, 2004--The first annual golf tournament to benefit United Way of Delaware’s Community Impact Fund is slated for Monday, Oct. 4, at Baywood Greens Golf Course in Long Neck.

Registration begins at 10 a.m., and tee-off time is 11 a.m. Entry fees are $125 per person or $400 per foursome and will benefit the United Way, which supports 127 health and human service programs in Delaware.

Prizes for low gross, closest to the pin, closest to the line, longest drive and hole-in-one will be awarded to participants and a reception will follow the awards.
