GIS workshops set 3:32 p.m., Aug. 30, 2004--Faculty, staff and students may attend free sessions to learn to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS)the rapidly growing technology used to track the spread of SARS and to map the movements of the Beltway Sniper. UDs Research & Data Management Services offers workshops for those who want to use ArcGIS software to supplement reports or grant requests or to model, analyze or map information.
