Campus photos enhance Vita Nova ambience Click here for slide show.
The University campus, renowned for the beauty of its buildings, plantings and overall appearance, is featured there. A few months ago, Fred DeMicco, ARAMARK Chair of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management, asked the Office of Public Relations for suggestions for photos to enhance Vita Nova. The Office of Public Relations has created UD desk calendars each year, featuring campus scenes by our photographers, and we suggested using some of these, said Monroe Givens, associate director of public relations.
"The prints lend a nice dash of color to Vita Nova and enhance the ambience," DeMicco said. "The four seasons theme represented in the prints also reflect our seasonal menu selections." Barbara Stein, an art director in public relations, was responsible for the project, getting the copies made and framing them.
