Special offer for Smucker’s Stars on Ice

8 p.m., Feb. 18, 2005--The UD community has been offered discount tickets to Smucker’s Stars on Ice, known as America’s most prestigious figure-skating production since 1986, to be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.

The show, produced by Scott Hamilton, features Olympic champion Sarah Hughes, Olympic pair champions Jamie Salé and David Pelletier and Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze, six-time U.S. national champion and world champion Todd Eldredge, Olympic champion and four-time world champion Alexei Yagudin and others. The New York Times praised the show for its “touch of genius” and called it “brilliantly theatrical.”

Tickets for the lower level are $40, discounted from $50, and $17 for the second level, discounted from $27, for members of the UD community. For more information or to order tickets, call Alison Yenolevich at (215) 952-5258 and mention the University of Delaware.
