UDs Kimmie Meissner is 4th at Worlds 9:56 a.m., March 4, 2005--Kimmie Meissner of the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club finished fourth in the International Skating Unions Junior World Championships, being held in Kitchener, Ontario. Meissner, the defending world silver medalist, went into last nights free skate in third place and was skating well until the last part of her program. Mao Asada of Japan won the gold medal, Yu-na Kim of South Korea won the silver medal and American Emily Hughes, sister of 2002 Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hughes, won the bronze medal.
