Basketball promotion for students set Feb. 11-12 4:20 p.m., Feb. 10, 2005--A special promotion just for students will be held at the women’s basketball game vs. Old Dominion University at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 11, at The Bob. A crowd is expected that night since a special offer for UD faculty and staff is a “sell out,” but there’s still room in the student section, which seats approximately 600 persons. The student promotion will include free pizza and special giveaways, compliments of the Spirit Ambassadors, the UD Alumni Association and UD athletics. Admission to students is free with valid UD I.D., and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6 p.m. The free pizza promotion also will occur at the men’s game vs. Towson on Saturday, Feb. 12.
