Premium meals available this spring at Pencader

6:27 p.m., Feb. 18, 2005--Nine premium meals offered in Pencader Dining Hall this spring promise premium-dining choices for UD students.

Back by popular demand after their successful launch last November, the meals give students, for an added fee, the option to select a special entrée, along with special side dishes and desserts, using their meal plans, points or FLEX. The entrée will vary from week to week and could include such specialties as steak or lobster.

The first premium meal will be offered Tuesday, Feb. 22, when, in addition to regular dinner selections, New York strip steaks and a vegetarian entrée of roasted sweet potato gnocchi with cinnamon cream will be offered.

Other dates for upcoming premium meals are Wednesday, March 2; Tuesday, March 8; Thursday, March 24; Tuesday, April 5;
Monday, April 11; Tuesday, April 26; Wednesday, May 4; and Tuesday, May 17.

Premium meals are being offered at UD in response to student requests for more variety, and are available on the specified days during regular dinner hours, 4:30-7:30 p.m., at Pencader. Students campuswide are invited to visit Pencader and participate in this program.
