‘Pink Thunderbird’ staged at Chapel Street Theatre

3:28 p.m., March 3, 2005--“Pink Thunderbird,” a combined performance of two one-act plays by playwright James McLure, opens Thursday, March 3, with an 8
p. m. preview show for UD drama students at the Chapel Street Theatre in Newark.

Directed by James Cunningham, UD associate professor of theatre, the production also features UD alumnae Heather Faw and Gretchen Reeder and UD staff Judith David and Scott Mason in the cast; and UD alumni Nancy Storch and Rick Neidig in the crew.

Performed separately as “Laundry and Bourbon” and “Lonestar” during the 2003-04 season at Chapel Street Theatre, the double-bill, “Pink Thunderbird” promises engaging entertainment.

Performances open to the public begin Friday, March 4, with an 8 p.m. showing. Other evening performances are scheduled for March 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19; and 2 p.m. matinees are scheduled for March 6 and 13.
