Blue Hens’ Matt Nagy leads Georgia to victory

3:15 p.m., Feb. 28, 2005--Matt Nagy, former quarterback for the University of Delaware, came off the bench to lead the Georgia Force to an exciting 66-63 victory over the host Austin Wranglers in an Arena Football League game played Friday.

Nagy entered the game in the second quarter after an injury to Georgia starting quarterback Jim Kubiak. He went on to throw seven touchdown passes, completing 19 of 25 throws for 257 yards.

The game went down to the wire, with Georgia winning on a 49-yard field goal as time expired.

Another former UD player, lineman Joe Minucci, had four tackles for the Nashville Kats in a 40-32 loss to the Las Vegas Gladiators.
