Delaware’s Minucci to face Philly Soul 8:59 a.m., Feb. 11, 2005--Former University of Delaware football star Joe Minucci will return to the area this weekend as a member of the Arena Football League’s Nashville Kats, who will take on the Philadelphia Soul at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, in the Wachovia Center. Minucci plays offensive and defensive lines for the Kats. He joined the team this season after playing last season with the Tennessee Valley Vipers of Arena Football League 2. The Kats are 1-1 this season, with a victory over Columbus and a loss to New Orleans. Minucci played defensive line for the Fightin’ Blue Hens and was an All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection in 2002.
