International night set April 16

3:26 p.m., March 4, 2005--The Cosmopolitan Club is sponsoring an international night from 7:30-11 p.m., Saturday, April 16, in Mitchell Hall.

Showcasing cultures and traditions from more than 50 countries around the world, the event will include musical, theatrical, dance and fashion-themed performances by UD students from many different countries. The aim is to bring a wider understanding and appreciation for different cultures across campus.

The event is open to the public and admission is $5.

The Cosmopolitan Club was established at UD in 1950. It is the largest and oldest foreign student club on campus, and currently has members from more than 50 different countries around the world.
