Senior Class Gift Committee seeks ideas

4:35 p.m., Feb. 14, 2005--The Senior Class Gift Committee is looking for innovative ideas and interested students to help with this year’s class gift. To get the word out, committee representatives will staff a kiosk in the Trabant University Center from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Feb. 17 and 18. Suggestions for the class gift submitted at the kiosk will be compiled for online voting in early March. Students who are unable to visit the kiosk can e-mail their suggestions to [hbarron@udel.edu].

The purpose of the kiosk is to involve the student body in the gift selection process and to recruit new committee members. The senior class committee wants to create a lasting memory for the graduating class and, at the same time, to raise awareness about the importance of giving back to the University.

For more information on the senior class gift or to learn how you can get involved, stop by the kiosk or contact senior Brian Budd at [buddb@udel.edu] or senior Dhiren Ponnambalam at [adhiren@udel.edu].
