Daffodil Days continue through Feb. 23

4:39 p.m., Feb. 18, 2005--To raise funds for research to find a cure for cancer, the Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days fund-raiser will continue through Wednesday, Feb. 23.

Initiated each year by the Mid-Atlantic division of the American Cancer Society, the month-long Daffodil Days campaign supports life-saving research, advocacy, programs and patient services for cancer patients and their families in local communities. Contributors also get a nice reminder of their support in the form of blooming daffodils.

Last year, the University was named a top supporter of the New Castle County Daffodil Days.

Employees who have not already filled out a form and who are still interested in contributing to the campaign can do so by calling the Mid-Atlantic Division of the American Cancer Society at (302) 324-4227. To learn more about the American Cancer Society, visit [www.cancer.org].
