Delaware baseball team to play in Georgetown

9:29 a.m., March 4, 2005--The University of Delaware baseball team will play its home opener in Sussex County, shifting the site of its weekend series against the University of Massachusetts from Bob Hannah Stadium in Newark to the campus of Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown.

The weekend series is slated to begin with a doubleheader at noon, Saturday, and will conclude a single game at noon, Sunday.

The DTCC campus in Georgetown is located on Route 18, just west of Route 113.

UD enters the series with a record of 2-4. Massachusetts is 1-2.
