Newark AAUW seeks student award applicants 11:47 a.m., Feb. 24, 2005--The Newark branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites students to apply for its annual award to an outstanding senior woman graduating from UD in May 2005. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 9. Principal criteria are academic achievement and leadership in volunteer service on or off campus. An award of $250 will be presented on University Honors Day, Friday, May 6, and the recipient will be recognized at the May meeting of the Newark branch of AAUW.
