9:24 a.m., March 2, 2005--UDs Office of Human Resources offers management training, career development programs and personal development programs. Registration is now open for spring semester workshops.
Supervision/personnel management workshops include:

- Conflict Resolution Skills, Part II;

- Effective Meeting Skills;
- Effective Team Facilitation;

- Handling the Difficult Employee;
- Introduction to Supervision;
- Motivating Employees: Leading, Empowering & Encouraging Growth; and
- Supervising Student Employees.
Personal development workshops include:
- Change Management;
- Communication Skills: Building Blocks for Job Success;
- Enhancing Your Assertiveness on the Job, Parts I and II;
- Organizing Your Workspace;
- Preventing Job Burnout;
- Procrastination Management;
- Reconnecting with Your Creativity;
- Stress Management; and

Career Development workshops include:
- Finding a Mentor;
- Interviewing Skills;
- Introduction to Career Planning/Job Search Strategies;
- Managing Upwards;
- Networking On Campus/Finding a Mentor; and
- Resume and Cover Letter Development.
Writing skills:
- Proofreading and Editing; and
- Writing for Professional Success.
