Alumni event set for Feb. 12 basketball game 5:08 p.m., Jan. 7, 2005--UD’s New Castle County Alumni Club will hold a special reception for alumni, family and friends after the UD basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 12. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the Blue Hens take on the Towson University Tigers at 7:30 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center and enjoy a post-game reception from 9:30-11:30 p.m. at Timothy’s Grill in Newark. Coach David Henderson, along with former UD basketball players Ricky Deadwyler ’93 and John Gordon ’00, will attend the reception. The total cost, including admission to the basketball game and reception, is $20 a person. Tickets are limited, so orders should be placed as soon as possible. Registrations can be made online at [www.udel.edu/alumni] until Friday, Feb. 4.
