Nominations sought for alumni board, awards
5:24 p.m., Dec. 17, 2004--The Office of Alumni and University Relations is accepting nominations for three major alumni awards programs and for its board of directors. The deadlines for all nominations are Jan. 21.
Alumni Wall of Fame
In recognition of the many notable achievements of its alumni, the University and the University of Delaware Alumni Association established the Alumni Wall of Fame in 1984. This award recognizes outstanding professional and public service achievements by UD graduates. The Wall of Fame is located in the Alumni Lounge of the Perkins Student Center. Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement
The Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement honors UD graduates of the last 20 years who exhibit great promise in their professional career and/or public service activities. Visit [www.udel.edu/alumni/awards/prescit.html] for more information and a nomination form.
Outstanding Alumni Award
The Outstanding Alumni Awards are presented annually at Homecoming to an alumnus and alumna in recognition of their exemplary volunteer work on behalf of the University and the University of Delaware Alumni Association. Board of Directors
